Frank E. Dyer Jr. 72 entered into eternal peace on Wednesday April 14th at home. He was born in Norwood MA., the son of the late Frank and Mary (Keese) Dyer. He grew up in Wakefield Ma and also resided in North Quincy. He was a 1954 graduate of North Quincy High School and also East Coast Aero Technical School Bedford MA. Frank was an Enfield resident for forty five years. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in Korea. Frank was formerly employed by Hamilton Standard for thirty two years and retired in 1994.He was a member of New England Genealogy Historical Society, also the Boat Owners Assoc., of the U.S. and R.I. Commercial Rod& Reel Fishermen's Assoc.. Frank enjoyed genealogy of the five Dyer families of New England, spending summers fishing for fluke at his second home –Village at Wordens Pond, Wakefield, RI. He is survived by his beloved wife of forty five years Carol Ann (O'Shea) Dyer. He also leaves his beloved sons Frank E. Dyer III (Chip) and his wife Donna. Of West Suffield , and his son John K. Dyer and his wife Marnie of Enfield . Frank leaves three grandchildren Brittany Anne, Amanda Jae, and Brandon James. Frank is also survived by a sister and brother in-law Shirley and John Mosson of Tewksbury MA., and a brother and sister in-law Richard and Terry Dyer of Enfield. Frank leaves his dear friends Rod and Leann Wood of Southwick MA., and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Frank's family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr.s Timothy Fignar, Lawrence Glaubiger, Dennis Morgan, and Dale Toce and staff for their excelent care and concern. Funeral services in celebration of Frank's life will be Saturday at 9:00AM from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Adalbert's Church; burial will be with military honors in Hazardville Cemetery. The Dyer family will receive relatives and friends at Browne Chapels on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00PM. Memorials may be made to Phoenix Community Cancer Center 142 Hazard Ave. Enfield CT 06082.
